Ribbon Cutting Held for New Assisted Living and Memory Care in Yuma, AZ

AZ, USA – Ativo Senior Living of Yuma has received its licensure to open its door for seniors who are in need of assisted living or memory care services. To celebrate the momentous occasion, Ativo of Yuma had a ribbon-cutting and official Grand Opening ceremony on Thursday, October 21^st with a theme of “Fall In Love with Yuma.”  In attendance were Arizona State Senator, Lisa Otondo; Bryan and Ron Ziebart, from Link Development; LisaAnn Shelton, Karilee Baird, and Van Ly from Insight Senior Living, the management company of the Ativo brand; Ativo’s leadership team, town council members, chamber of commerce members and other local leaders.  

“I am incredibly honored to have built a team and formed relationships with partners who persevered and worked so diligently through a pandemic to build an amazing new home for seniors,” said Deborah Ludington, Administrator for Ativo of Yuma. “We offer personalized assisted living and memory care options, so our residents receive as little or as much assistance needed to experience an active lifestyle that focuses on maximizing residents’ independence and dignity. The team and I are excited to serve the Yuma community for many years to come.” 

Located in Fortuna Foothills, the 79-apartment home community features amenities such as an art studio, theater, fitness center, private dining room, an individual salon in the assisted living and memory care, outdoor garden, a four-seater Surrey bike, and multiple game rooms. Floorplans range from studio to even one- and two-bedroom options, including some with a stove and oven option.

Ativo of Yuma abides by the state-mandated safety protocols as well as the community utilizes a bipolar ionization air filtration system. All guests are screened as they arrive by checking temperatures and are asked questions regarding health and potential exposure to contagious viruses.

This is the first project with Link Development and Insight Senior Living, as the management company, with future projects set for Prescott Valley, Arizona; Albuquerque, New Mexico; and Sundance, Arizona.
