Today, Drivers Education of America announced the offering of a new video-only, State of Texas approved 6 hour online driver education course required for Texans 18 to 24 in Spanish. The State of Texas requires a mandatory 6 hour class for aspiring drivers who are ages 18 to 24; and the State allows those 25 and older to bypass the written test for their licenses at the DPS if they pass the course. The company is a TDLR-approved driver education business (#C2826) for the entire State of Texas.
Chad Henry, owner of Drivers Education of America, said, “We noticed a demand in Texas for a Spanish-language adult driver education course. Since we already have been selling a similar six hour adult driver education online class in the State of Illinois, we were able to adapt and now can offer a Texas TDLR-approved Spanish language version of the English language course.”
According to the company’s website, the self-paced course is accepted at all Texas DPS driver location offices. It also is the only all-video (no reading) course. The content can be viewed on all devices such as smart phones, tablets, laptops, and desktop computers. The official DPS written test is included in the price of the online course.
